Mohammed Younus Siddiqui is the founder Secretary General of Non- Aligned Students and Youth Movements (NASYM), he is graduated from Delhi University. He was involved in political activities since his early student life. He started his political career as the students’ leader in Delhi University.

He is also the President of All India Babri Masjid Rebuilding Committee, President, All India Muslim Unity Front, Advisor, Real Cause, NGO and Chief Editor, Voice of Millions News Agency.

He has also toured various countries and attended international conferences on Non- Aligned, Palestine and other International issues in the world. He visited United States of America, Iraq, Libya. Jordan, Indonesia, Nepal, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Nepal, Macao, Hong Kong and many other countries.

The Non- Aligned Students and Youth Movement (NASYM) was formed in 1992 on the pattern of Non- Aligned Movement (NAM), taking the inspiration from the Non- Aligned policies and ideas of late Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru, one of the founder member of NAM, to strengthen the Non- Aligned Countries.

NASYM struggle against imperialism, colonialism, neo- colonialism, racism, Zionism, terrorism and all forms of foreign aggression, occupation, domination, interference or hegemony as well as against great power and bloc politics.

The NASYM is working with the aim to unite the Youth and Students organizations of Non Aligned countries and Youth and Students organisations of other countries believing in the concept of NASYM.

Works for promotion of Youth and Students Organisations in programme areas such as: youth employment, environment, human rights, democracy, population, health, drugs, community development and leadership training.

It was in 1992, that NASYM held its first International Preparatory Meet on “Impact of UN sanctions on Third World Countries and People’s Rights” which was inargurated by former Foreign Secretary, Ministry of external Affairs, Government of India Mr. Romesh Bhandari and attended by youth and students organisation drawn from 20 countries.

In 1994 organised an international Conference (June 28-30, 1994) under the banner of Non-Aligned Students and Youth Movement (NASYM). The subject was “Impact of UN sanctions on Third World Countries and People’s Rights” was attended by 42 countries including all the Arab League Nations. The inauguration was performed by Union HRD Minister Arjun Singh, it was attended by former Union Minister Vasant Sathe and Mrs. Shiels Dikshit was the chief guest for the closing function.

Seminar on “Impact of Terrorism on Civilization” was held on January 2009.

Mr. Subhash Chowdhary. Smt. Renuka Chowdhary(Minister Women and Child Welfare) Government of India, Mr. Salman Khursheed(Former External Affairs Minister), H.E. Dr. Kairat Umarov, Ambassador of Kazakhstan were speakers.

NASYM seminar on “Genocide: The threat to civilisation” Constitution Club, New Delhi, March 16, 2009 – 22 Jun 2009. Smt. Renuka Chowdhary (Minister Women and Child Welfare) Government of India, Former Home Secretary Mr. K. Padmanabhaiah were the guest speakers.

Non Aligned Students and Youth Movement International Preparatory Committee Meeting on terrorism, Inaugurated by Smt. Sheila Dixit, Chief Minister of Delhi on 28 May 2009 at New Delhi- India.

He has dedicated whole of his life for the cause of Social work, peace, humanity and against terrorism.

He also is working to establish a university in India to impart religious and modern technical education under one roof. His target of life is to create a full fledged media house for Indian Muslims in the times to come.

Non- Aligned Students and Youth Movement is the international platform for young people to discover and develop their potential so as to have a positive impact in society and to unite the Youth and Students organizations of the Non Aligned countries. The Non-Aligned Students and Youth Movement believes in policies and practices of cooperation, especially those that are multilateral and provide mutual benefit to all those involved.
