New Delhi, 14 June, 2017: Mr. Mohammed Younus Siddiqui, President, All India Muslim Unity Front (AIMUF) in a press statement issued on Wednesday on 14th of June, 2017 in New Delhi strongly condemns the government of Saudi Arabia and its allies for severing diplomatic relations with the State of Qatar under the false pretext that the Qatar is supporting the terrorist and sectarian groups, which is totally false, wrong, incorrect and unbelievable.
Mr. Siddiqui said that in fact Qatar has always fought against terrorism and extremism and there are many official reports that confirm that the Saudi Arabia Government and nationals supported Al-Quida, ISIS and other terrorists groups.
Mr. Siddiqui said that the State of Qatar provided the largest Al Udeid air base in Middle East to United States of America to fight against the terrorists’ organization ISIS. The United States America used Al Udeid air base to carry out airstrikes against ISIS in Iraq and Syria then how the State of Qatar can support terrorism.
Mr. Siddiqui said that it is unfortunate that Saudi Arabia Government besides severing of diplomatic ties imposed illegal blockade against Qatar. It is regrettable that the Saudi Arabia Government closes the only land border with Qatar in the holy month of Ramadhan that halted the transport of goods including Food Stuff into Qatar.
Mr. Siddiqui said that it is shameful that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Bahrain also made land, sea and air blockade, close their, borders, airspace to flights from and to Qatar, these countries also ordered the Qatari citizens to leave their countries.
Mr. Siddiqui said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its ally’s blockade against State of Qatar is clear violations of international laws and international humanitarian law, because due to the blockade the supply of food stuff and medicine have been stopped and the people of State of Qatar may suffer due to the shortage of Medicine and Food stuff. The Saudi Arabia Government has not taken the clearance of United Nations and other world organizations like Organization of Islamic Countries to impose the blockade against State of Qatar.
Mr. Siddiqui said that we also condemn the Saudi Arabia, UAE, Bahrain and Egypt for the media blockade and blocking Qatar based media websites including Al Jazeera’s Media Network website. This confirm the anti press attitude of Saudi Arabia Government. Mr. Siddiqui said that the Saudi Arabia dictatorial attitude, illegal, inhuman and unjustified blockade against brotherly country Qatar has threatens the stability of the entire Gulf region. This unjust act of Saudi Arabia Government will give chance to the enemies of Islam to laugh on Arab Nations.
Mr. Siddiqui said that the All India Muslim Unity Front appeal to all the countries trading with Qatar to continue their trading by violating Saudi Arabia blockade as no sanctions have been imposed on Qatar by the United Nations.
Mr. Siddiqui said that I on behalf of the members of All India Muslim Unity Front and all the peace loving and secular people of India extends full support and solidarity with His Highness Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani Emir of the State of Qatar and people of the State of Qatar.
Mr. Siddiqui said that the All India Muslim Unity Front will take all possible measures in India and on international level to expose the false allegations made by Saudi Arabia against the State of Qatar and we will pressurise the Saudi Arabia Government to withdraw the false allegations and blockade made against the State of Qatar by organising seminars, symposiums and demonstrations. We will also be writing letters to United Nations, Organization of Islamic Countries, League of Arab States and world leaders to pressurise Saudi Arabia to withdraw the false, illegal, unjust and fabricated allegations leveled against State of Qatar.
